On July 29th and 30th, PC and console gaming teams from Uganda and Rwanda will travel to Nairobi, Kenya to compete for $1500 in cash prizes in Africa’s first international e-sports tournament. The event will be held in conjunction with the 5th annual Nairobi Comic Convention (Naiccon) which expects to see 3500 attendees over a two day period. It is the result of a joint effort by GamersNights, AbaGamers, and Naiccon and is sponsored by Liquid Telecom and Asus ROG....

MTN is re-launching their 4G network and is hosting GamersNights for a Call of Duty online tournament in order to showcase the 4G experience on Thursday at 10:00AM. The winning team will receive five 4G MiFi routers with 10GB of data. The event will be streamed live on Twitch.

Last Friday, while filming for our upcoming television show on UrbanTV, we strapped my Oculus Rift DK2 onto an askari (security guard). However, we forgot to warn him that what he was about to see wasn't real. Hilarity ensued.
