PC Gaming Tournament Results

The recent PC Gaming tournament was a huge success. 50 players participated, prizes were awarded to two tournament winners, and 30 people walked away with free GamersNights t-shirts. Things kicked off around 12:00 noon and rolled on until well after midnight. Numerous games were played, but Call of Duty 4 and Trackmania were the focus of the day.

Approximately 20 people signed up to participate in the COD4 tournament. After almost three hours of play, two winners emerged: AgentSmith (1st place) and She_Wolf (2nd place). First place prize was a three-course meal for two at Little Donkey plus UGX 100,000 in cash. Second place prize was a three-course meal for two at Little Donkey plus UGX 50,000 in cash.

In particular, this event would not have been possible without Samuel "NtindaSnyper" Odeke and Tony "Saint" Ruxy who spent hours managing sponsors, t-shirt production, and other issues. This event would also not have been possible without the members of our community who brought along networking equipment (e.g. switches, cables, wireless routers) so that we could build a solid LAN.
